JOB SUMMARYLittle Mountain is seeking Line Cook III team members with advanced culinary expertise and leadership potential. This role bridges technical skill and team mentorship, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency across the kitchen. WHAT YOU WILL DO Manage a cooking station during service, ensuring all dishes are executed flawlessly. Collaborate with the Sous Chef on inventory and ordering of proteins and other ingredients. Monitor portioning, plating, and presentation to ensure alignment with menu standards. Sharpen and maintain knives and tools to ensure optimal performance and safety. Assist with opening and closing responsibilities, ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly. Contribute to menu development by sharing expertise on protein handling and preparation techniques. Uphold all health and safety protocols, setting an example for the team. WHO YOU ARE A highly skilled culinary professional with leadership experience. Adaptable and calm under pressure, thriving in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented and passionate about delivering exceptional food. EXPERIENCE Minimum 2-3 years of professional kitchen experience, with mastery of multiple stations. Expertise in protein handling, advanced cooking techniques, and team leadership. HEALTH & SAFETY California Food Handler’s Certification; ensure compliance with all health and safety standards, including food safety, sanitation, and workplace hygiene, in line with California Department of Health guidelines. Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace hygiene standards. WORK ENVIRONMENT Involves standing and walking the entire shift. Requires using hands to perform daily tasks. Involves frequent reaching, bending, and lifting. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly during the shift.
